Even though my life has been very busy for the last 6 months because I have been rebuilding my house I have still been able to have groups come in to package food.  Since May we have packaged over 80,000 meals.  I really appreciate all of your prayers and support.

Latest shipment to Malawi 
On October 31, Halloween night, we shipped out another 70,000 meals to Malawi.  This was just added to another shipment put together by 2 other Feeding Children International satellites.  All together there were 3 containers shipped, 855,360 meals total between all of the satellites.  The food has been donated to the Seven Day Adventists and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lilongwe, Malawi.

Bethel Marketing Class to help us get organized
I recently received a call from a student at Bethel University who asked me if she and her classmates could use FCI-Steiger Mpls as their project for a Marketing class.  I gladly accepted.  They will help with advertising and putting together literature for us that we can give out, such as brochures and the like.  Last Spring I had started putting information together for a new brochure.  This is such a blessing to me because it is exactly what I need.

In September we had a group of kids get together, gather sponsors and raise $550 to help feed starving children in Malawi through bowling.  This is enough to feed 6,050 children in Malawi.

Update on my trip to Malawi
Well, there isn’t much to say about this because I most likely will not be able to go to Malawi this winter.  I need to tell Children of the Nations (COTN), the organization in Malawi, by the end of October if I would be able to go in February and stay there for 6 months.  I still d no know for sure if that would work so I will not be able to go in February, but there is a possibility that I will be able to go next summer.  Please keep this in your prayers.  I do not know what exactly I should do.  I think it may be too long to stay for 6 months; I am going to see if I can stay there for a shorter time period.  Please pray for me that this will all come together in God’s timing.  Pray for me that I will know God’s plan without a shadow of a doubt.
