Noah and Wendy's May 2006 newsletter
Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know, we have recently returned from our time at the Steiger International Radical Ministry and Leadership Training School in New Zealand. We appreciate all of your prayers and support for us while we were away. It is such a blessing to know that wherever God calls us, we are being sent and covered in prayer by all of you!
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Since being married, and going on so many adventures, we’ve been blessed to live in a total of six houses with about thirty different people. As amazing as this has been, we are excited to be finally moving into our new home here in Minneapolis. We will be living in the newly livable attic in one of the Steiger community houses. It is one of our desires to live in community as a married couple. God has been so good in preparing this new home for us while we were in New Zealand!
Now home, we are continuing our work in organizing the Steiger Minneapolis Discipleship School for this fall. After much prayer, we have decided not to go to the SLOT Festival in Poland. We feel that it would not be wise to prepare for another International trip so early in our marriage and ministry together. There are many ways we believe the Lord wants to use us here and to go to Europe would only slow that down. We will continue our correspondence with the leaders of the Steiger Karlsruhe Discipleship School (LIFT) in Germany, as we feel they would be a great resource in our development.
Speaking in Churches
We are still praying and looking for opportunities to share about our ministry with churches, small groups, individuals, etc. We believe this is important in developing our prayer and financial support base. We want to give more people the ability to be involved in what God is doing in His ministry through our lives. From May 31st through June 6th we will be in California’s Bay Area for our West Coast wedding reception. On June 4th we will be speaking in Noah’s home church, Hope Center Covenant. Our goal is to have 1,000 receiving our newsletter by the end of the year.

Now that we are back in the states, we will begin sending our newsletters via snail mail. To do this successfully, we need your address. If you would prefer to continue receiving our newsletter via e-mail, please let us know. Otherwise, please send us your information ASAP.
Prayer Requests
Please pray with us for the Steiger Minneapolis Discipleship School. Pray for the staff that has committed to work with us and for the potential students who are praying about applying. Please pray with us for opportunities to share about our ministry, as well as developing our prayer and financial support base. Pray that we would be a blessing for Hope Center Covenant Church as we speak there on June 4th. Please pray with us concerning our finances as we continue to discover what it means to live as newly married missionaries.
It is so good to be back home! Thanks again for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. We are blessed and encouraged by your involvement in our life and ministry. May the Lord continue to reveal Himself to you and expand His Kingdom through your life.
