Dear prayer supporters,

Last month was something else. We did the show for the Heritage Girls, and it was great!  I remember looking at all the little kids and teenagers in the church who had come out expecting a show and a badge... and thinking "Man, look at all these wholesome kids.  Why did they ask me to do this and all my creepy music, demon eye puppets, and 'reality check' dialog.  They should have asked some rainbow colored church show."  But by the end of the Q&A and performance I had moms thanking me on the verge of tears for giving them and their kids a show about real life.  The church puppet leader and scout leaders were blown away, and as much as we could make it clear, we told them that we were not there to help them get their puppetry badge, but to tell them about God's love.  It was a really good time, and who knows the impact that that one show will have on so many young lives.

Another thing that has happened this past January and Holiday Season is... (drum roll please for the suspended Big News) After much thought and prayer, Sari and I have decided to quit our jobs at the end of March and go to the Steiger Missions School in Germany.  After which, we will be doing another European and Middle Eastern Tour with the Suitcase Sideshow and heading into Missions with Steiger full time.  Yes, we are aware of the economy, but we both strongly feel that we could easily get too comfortable here and not desperate for Gods power in our lives, or His direction for our future family.   We are learning that sometimes providing for your family doesn't mean bringing in finances, but quitting your job to allow God the opportunity to work in us and allow us to grow.  So we are heading out to learn what God may want us to do with our unique skill sets of nursing and artistic evangelism.  We don't fully know yet, it may lead us back here, or send us across the globe.

But here we are saying "Send us! We trust your guiding hand in not just word, but in action."

The final thing we need your prayer for is a couple shows we have this month in Wisconsin.  We will be going into Sari's old church, and a rock venue.  Pray for unity among the believers we will be partnering with, and pray that the Gospel will be boldly spoken like seeds on good soil.

Thank you for your continued support.

More on the tour next month!

For the Kingdom,

Philip & Sari
