The Salvage Yard Church in coordination with Steiger International coordinates an annual ministry school and outreach to the biggest New Age Hippie Festival in the world, held each year in a national forest.
It involves three parts:
1. A week of living in Minneapolis at a community house and free time to participate in Steiger Minneapolis activities.
2. A week of practical training in the forest (including intensive prayer)
3. A fourteen day outreach to a spiritually charged New Age festival held in different National Forests every year (the festival is intentionally not named). The team sets up a kitchen and feeds thousands of spiritually sensitive hippies, punks, and outcasts. Nightly services are also held at the kitchen.
