Focus: Two weeks of classroom training and practical experience on counter culture ministry.  The two weeks consist of intense teaching by Steiger base leaders from around the world and nightly ministry in Minneapolis which includes street ministry, food packaging for Feeding Children International, and neighborhood cleanup.  It culminates in a fourteen day outreach to a  New Age Festival (a spiritually charged festival held in a different National Forest every year) to setup up a kitchen and feed rice to thousands of spiritually sensitive counter culture people, punks, and outcasts.  The two week school is also available for those who are interested in ministry but are not able to go to the festival.

Prayer requests:
  • that God would already be divinely appointing next year’s team members
  • that the leaders would have wisdom on where to hold next year’s school
  • for the festival attendees that God would be breaking Satan’s stronghold over them during the year so that many people would be ready to receive the Gospel next summer

Specifics: Ministry School begins June 5, 2008 and Outreach ends July 7, 2008.
