Led by Molly Waggoner

The Jesus Kitchen is a Saturday night street outreach on the West Bank in Minneapolis.  We feed the street kids, punks, West Bank locals, and anyone who is hungry.  As they sit down on the sidewalk and eat we listen to them, love them, pray with or for them and try to point them to Jesus.  We also give away Bibles and invite people to the Salvage Yard Church.

We really want people to see Jesus as a result of what we do out there on Saturday nights.  We go out expecting and longing for God to kmake a difference in the lives of the people we are reaching out to.

We meet to pray before the Kitchen at 9:00 pm on Saturday nights, get out on the street at 10:00, and stay out until at least midnight.  If you are interested in being on our team, contact Molly by e-mail at: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .  There is a mandatory training that takes about an hour, which we require to ensure that we are on the same page spiritually, to address any concerns, to answer any concerns, to answer any questions you may have, and to go over some of our ministry's guiding principles.

As much as we need people with us out on the street, we also need your prayers at home.  When you think of us, pray.  Sometimes we think we know the scene better than we do.  We need prayer for protection, wisdon, patience, spiritual authority, love, etc.  You name it, we just need prayer for it.

All are welcome
